From the mountains to the coast, from charming small towns to large cities, from quaint fishing villages to professional sporting events, from history to today, North Carolina has something for everyone to enjoy. North Carolina is known for its beautiful beaches, mountains, and forests. It’s also home to many universities and research centers that are at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and innovation.

We will explore historic sites, unique shopping experiences, and restaurants ranging from 5-Star dining to small diners and eateries passed down through generations. Do you love seafood? Come along to the NC Seafood Festival, held in Morehead City along the picturesque coast. While indulging in the best seafood around, be sure to take in the historic lighthouses and pirate legends. Whistle the iconic theme song as you walk the streets of Mt. Airy, the birthplace of Andy Griffith, for the annual Mayberry Festival, or head to the mountains for any of the numerous music festivals throughout the year. We'll also look into the legends and lore, monsters and mysteries associated with North Carolina.
